A Study in Scars: done.
Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature in Frankenstein.
Finally. Done.
It was a serious trip. I’ve never been so focused on a drawing like that, very involved too. Definitely the most detailed and complicated drawing I’ve ever made.
What a fascinating subject. I got lost many times in these scars, it was like, making a big puzzle. But it was also restful sometimes, mesmerizing, I’ve never been bored with it. I got a lot of fun, really. Merci Mr. Cumberbatch.
Actually, the drawing isn’t really done, I have to finish Victor Frankenstein now, who is on the same paper:
Drawing on 65x50 cm paper (25x20 inches)Mechanical pencil, 4B-7B-8B pencils.

… look at that right foot - even that right foot is acting! … and i feel so bad for him when he drags himself along the floor to get away from frankenstein, as if he were expecting to be struck physically …

My heart is black. It stinks. My mind, once filled with dreams of beauty is a furnace of revenge. Three years ago when I was born I laughed for joy at the heat of the sun. I cried at the call of the birds. The world was a cornucopia to me, now it is a waste of frost and snow.
